B. RECOUNT TEXT OF Personal Experience; Sebuah text yang menceritakan kepada pembaca tentang sebuah kisah, peristiwa, pengalaman ataupun aktivitas/kegiatan seseorang yang sdh terjadi/dilewatinya.

Tujuannya/the purpose of Recount text; menghibur ataupun memberikan informasi kepada pembaca.

Contoh/example recount text of personal experience:

Holiday in Pasir Kencana Beach (Berlibur di pantai Pasir Kencana)

            Lintang’s Birthday (Ulang Tahun Lintang)

            Bad Experience of Shopping (Pengalaman tak baik ktk berbelanja)


Generic Structure

There are three types of generic structure of recount text, as follow: (Ada tiga jenis struktur umum teks recount, yt sebagai berikut):

a. Orientation, introducing the participants, place, and time. (a. Orientasi, pengenalan peserta, tempat, dan waktu.)

b.Events, describing series of event that happened in the past. (b. Peristiwa, menggambarkan rangkaian peristiwa yang terjadi/dilalui.)

C. Reorientation, it is optional. Stating personal comment of the writer to the story. (C. Reorientasi, itu opsional. Menyatakan komentar pribadi penulis cerita.)


Language Feature of Recount

There are five characteristics of language feature in recount. (Ada lima karakteristik fitur bahasanya.)

a. Introducing personal participant; I, my group, etc. (a. Memperkenalkan peserta secara pribadi, seperti; Saya, grup saya, dll.)

b. Using chronological connection; then, first, etc. (b. Menggunakan koneksi kronologis; then/lalu, first/pertama, dll.)

c. Using linking verb; was, were, saw, heard, etc. (c. Menggunakan kata kerja penghubung Verb2 (kata kerja ke2) seperti; was, were, saw/melihat, heard, mendengar, dll.)

d. Using action verb; look, go, change, etc. (d. Menggunakan kata kerja tindakan; lihat, pergi, ganti, dll.)

e. Using simple past tense (verb1). (e. Menggunakan simple past tense.)
