Once upon a time, a crow was sitting on a branch of a tree with a piece of cheese in her beak. A hungry fox saw the crow and thought of a plan to get the cheese. The fox sat under the tree and said, “Oh, Crow! You are so beautiful. Your feathers are so shiny. I am sure you have a lovely voice. Could you please sing a song for me?”

The crow, flattered by the fox s words, opened her beak to sing. As soon as she did, the piece of cheese fell from her beak, and the fox quickly grabbed it. The fox laughed and said, “Thank you for the cheese, foolish crow!” The crow realized she had been tricked and felt very sad.
